Hello! Let me introduce myself…  

Hi, I’m Shari. I’m an illustrator and designer based in Oakdale, California, creating whimsical, story-driven work for books, brands, and thoughtful, collectible products.

I live with my husband, our three kids, and a very lovable Boston Terrier. I’m a detail-oriented Virgo at heart, and I care deeply about creating work that feels intentional, cohesive, and beautifully executed.

I work with authors and creative brands on projects that range from special edition books to product-based illustration and design. I’m especially drawn to work that allows space to build something immersive and thoughtfully crafted from start to finish.

I approach each project as a collaboration, building on what already exists and shaping it into something that feels aligned and meaningful.

My background includes a mix of creative and professional experience, from working with small businesses and creative brands to supporting and now leading marketing for the Oakdale Morning Market, and co-hosting the podcast Here for the Story, where I get to talk about books, creativity, and the stories that connect us.

I’m also a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a licensed attorney, which has shaped the way I think about structure, communication, and the business side of creative work.

Outside of client work, you’ll usually find me reading (mostly fantasy and romance), working on personal illustration projects, or spending time with my family, often with a cup of tea in hand.
