Each book design project includes access to a custom client portal, your central space for contracts, invoices, timelines, file delivery, and feedback. It’s designed to keep everything organized, clear, and easy to navigate from start to finish. Whether we’re creating a single edition or developing a full series, the goal is a process that feels intentional, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable.

1. Discovery & Direction
We begin with a creative questionnaire and strategy call to clarify your story’s tone, characters, themes, and visual direction. I also gather printer specifications and edition details so everything is set up correctly from the start.

2. Research & Visual Development
I explore visual references, motifs, and color palettes that support your story’s mood and message. For series or established brands, I ensure everything aligns with your broader aesthetic.

3. Sketching & Color Exploration
You’ll receive initial sketches and color direction for each piece, along with space to provide feedback before moving into final artwork.

4. Illustration & Design
Once approved, I complete the final illustrations and integrate them with custom typography and layout. This may include dust jackets, hardcover cases, or edge designs, depending on your project.

5. Refinement & Delivery
After final feedback and proofing, I prepare all files to your printer’s specifications and deliver them through your client portal. If your project includes marketing assets, those are finalized and delivered here as well.
